Nu! Oh wow. So this vampire can’t really stay dead, huh? Yeah. That’s right. I didn’t expect this to have another season. At least not this soon. But I guess with a certain vampire resurrected from the ashes of the dead, it is so that only because we can have more dumb laughs in Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu S2. As we all already know from the first season, a vampire so weak that he dies and turns into sand the slightest. But he keeps conveniently resurrecting and that’s why we have a sequel to see more shenanigans and antics that would continue to kill him (but not outright) and in the process make us laugh. Heh. Oh well, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, right? Okay, at least not in Draluc’s case. Does anybody keep a scorecard of how many times this weakling died already?

The only way left is to go back to the office. One of those vegetable monsters is still around so he gets chased about. Draluc thinks of transforming into a bat to fly into the office to signal for John’s help. Too bad WTF he transformed into?! Because of that, pigeons start chasing him. Then chickens. Then ostriches. Yeah, no wonder that guy wants to die because all the embarrassing things the duo are spilling out. Some he doesn’t even know! So when it looks like Handa has more knowledge on Ronaldo (can tease someone if you don’t know him well, no?), Sanzu pulls off a blurry picture of Ronaldo. It’s a time when she first met Ronaldo when he saved her from a vampire attack. It was then she became a fan of his and took this photo. With the winner hard to determine, Handa decides to ask the man himself. Ronaldo is not happy and throws him out of the window. Sanzu herself jumps out since she is embarrassed. Ronaldo may follow suit too because Fukuma is here to collect his manuscript!

Episode 11C
Hinaichi reports to Ronaldo of numerous reports that females in surrounding towns are giving their blood willingly to a vampire. When she describes the icy smile, this puts Draluc on high alert. Don’t look now because Northdin is here. He is Draluc’s former mentor and the one responsible for shaping Draluc to who he is. Safe to say, Draluc doesn’t like him a bit. Northdin notes he is being provided for by a human so Draluc claims this is his town and it is under his control. Northdin would love to test him then. He goes to seduce and hypnotize all the women under his control. Yeah, using his weird charm, this smooth talker easily gets all the woman to fall for him even those who put up some resistance. Ronaldo and Draluc try to stop him but looks like he has a few women protecting him. Northdin then turns the guild into his base.

Episode 12A
Northdin challenges Draluc to take back his town. All the guys team up to get their women back. They manage to get into the base with this loophole. That is, cross-dressing as a woman! However Northdin’s charms can also work on a man so they still can’t touch him. However they already take that into consideration so they’re under the hypnotism of bikini vampire so his charm cannot override it. With this same logic, this means the ladies cannot be overridden by other spells. Draluc pulls out all the dumb stops to win and eventually when he gets naked and Hinaichi sees his dick, this breaks her free from the spell as she gives Northdin a swift punch. All other women are also freed. The guys try to apprehend him but Northdin escapes. He notes to Draluc that he has gotten stronger and be sure to get along well with everyone in this town. A victory but at what cost? Yeah, everybody’s modesty!

Episode 12B
Somehow everybody wins a trip to the hotspring inn. This is a nefarious plan by the hotspring vampire to gather them and then turn them into mineral deposits in his bid to rule Shin Yokohama. Only problem? He didn’t expect everyone to turn up at the same time! So you bet it’s a crowded field from the hunters to the vampire control division and even those perverted vampire kin are here! Don’t even mention Autumn Books’ staff! Yeah, hotspring vampire is going to have a hard time handling them all. Especially telling these bozos not to break the rules of the inn. Tiring. When the ladies are in, he tries to start with them. However they think they spot a pervert so he has to flee. Now that the ladies alert the guys, it’s a hunt for the pervert. Don’t mind those vampire perverts. Hotspring vampire decides to use his final tactic of gathering everyone in the hall and flush them all. When that happens, nothing happens. He goes to check the problem. Looks like the hotspring water is being controlled by Fukuma! So how this awkwardness? Oh well, time for a group photo instead.

Episode 12C
Don’t really understand this part because it is confusing and random. Like Ronaldo and Draluc naming crappy movies while John gives them points, eating some sushi roll in a certain direction, playing some rich girl act, making John say certain words, doing a short burst of dance and it all ends with Ronaldo killing Draluc with his fart. WTF?!

The Vampire Die-ries!
Well, that’s about it. More like the same from last season and to think there would be some final episode drama or plot but that would be just me overthinking and hoping for the impossible. Heh. So with Northdin just playing the villain to test Draluc and that really odd and bizarre talking skit between Ronaldo and Draluc like as though it is a cooling down segment after all the crazy and nonsensical things we have seen this season. Yeah. It’s been a blast. And Draluc has been blasted away into sand. Sorry for bad pun.

This season follows the exact same formula as the last. After all, if it is not broken, don’t fix it. But because of that, some may find this season to be nothing really new despite adding a handful of new characters. It’s just the same shenanigans and antics of our dumb lovable characters in Shin Yokohama, that’s all. I’m not saying that this season is boring as it is still enjoyable. But if you are hoping for something that would shake up the entire series, say, an actual storyline and plot to follow (Ronaldo, Draluc, humans and vampires must all work together to stop a megalomaniac from taking over the world! Yeah. That kind of plot) instead of random episodic episodes, then you would be sorely disappointed. It would have been an entirely different series altogether. Right now, we are here for the laughs.

As we all know, the series itself has a multitude of characters. This season introduces more of them and so the roster continues to bloat. Well, it is both good and bad. With new characters taking up a bit of the limited screen time, this means old ones are relegated to having lesser appearances. Some are forgettable and I don’t remember even popping up at all. Like I was certain they forgot about Maremi but they trolled me as she made her final episode cameo just to give me a slap in my face. Sheesh. However, because of how the series works and flows, you won’t be left wondering about their fate or anything since many of the skits in the episode are random. So it’s like they can just randomly decide to pick which character and then insert them into this particular act. You won’t lose much. Though, new characters themselves also don’t actually bring much to the table. You’ll just fawn over them in their debut because, well, new character. Then they will be relegated to just another side or supporting character.

Even the series’ main duo, Ronaldo and Draluc too almost fell into this sort of pitfall trap. Because there are some skits in which either one do not even appear and heck, some that both don’t even appear at all! But at least they appear once each episode. Not just every skit. After all like I have said, the amount of characters has bloated so everybody is fighting for some screen time. Got to make some old ones still feel relevant while at the same time juggling to give new ones a chance to shine. That is, doing dumb stuffs to let us be more acquainted with this new characters’ personality. For instance, Sanzu the big Ronaldo fan and Mikazuki the rookie vampire hunter who is, uhm, I don’t know, can anybody tell me more about this new character? And there I was thinking that some characters would be the season’s ‘final boss’ like Tsujigiri but looks like he is now doomed to be paired with Kantaro for some dumb antics. The duo can be a manzai comedy combo. Yeah, so much about that serial killer getting his fearsome reputation back. I also thought the same for Yomotsuzaka but he’s just a mad scientist who just wants to experiment, experiment and more experiment! I have got to realize that no matter how dangerous or threatening some characters may sound and look, they’re all just another bunch of dumbass idiots! Looking at you too, Tabiko!

Everything else feels much like home as well know such as Ronaldo’s fear of Fukuma for his repeated failure to stick to the deadline, Draluc still easily dies and turns to sand (is it me or does it feel that this season Draluc has less deaths this season?), Handa’s penchant to prank Ronaldo, Hinaichi continues to love sweets and the local vampires still doing their usual stuffs like Nudenium walking around nude, bikini vampire still putting on bikini on others, yakyuken guy still loving to play strip rock-scissors-paper and lewd talk vampire still making others talk dirty.

If there is one thing that I would feel slightly disappointed is that the best character of the series somewhat feels negligible. We all know John is the best character, RIGHT?! Very unfortunately in this sequel, he too fails to escape from overcrowded field and does not stand out as much as before. I think there is only 1 skit that John is put in focus and that’s about it. Often at other times, I would hardly feel this armadillo’s presence. After all, whatever past about John and his relationship with the sand vampire (Draluc but of course) was already shown in last season. Sad that there aren’t any skits that would remind us and make John feel like the most important character of the series! Nu! More like NOOOOOOO!!!

Other interesting insights to note is Draluc’s mom, Mira. It sheds some light on her whereabouts and probably why it took her this long to show her face but I guess personally that skit that she only appears in is the most heart-warming one. Hence perhaps the only character of the series in this context not to fall into that dumb character shenanigans because we don’t see her getting such idiotic treatment. Then the other one is Hiyoshi being revealed as Ronaldo’s older brother. I would not have guessed but alas at least this season he has more screen time than the last. Now we all know why he wears a fake moustache, eh?

On a trivial note, just like in last season, the next episode preview continues to be a dramatic piece of trolling material. Basically they show dramatic clips from next episode into trolling you to think that something major or shocking would happen. But when you watch the next episode, there is none of that threatening tension or hostility that was previewed to us. The usual dumb tomfooleries that is oh so the trademark of this show. Yeah, nice try but I am still not fooled by it.

With last season’s seiyuus retained, more characters joining this season to further add to the expanding casts include Ayumu Murase as Mikazuki (Menel in Saihate No Paladin), Mariya Ise as Sanzu (Levi in Fairy Tail), Seiichirou Yamashita as Kantaro (Kosame in Appare-Ranman), Atsuko Tanaka as Mira (Motoko in Ghost In The Shell series), Yuko Kaida as Tabiko (Sylvia in Spy x Family), Rina Hidaka as Mimimi (Last Order in To Aru Majutsu No Index) and Kenyuu Horiuchi as Northdin (Kinemon in One Piece). Sad to say that this season, the opening theme is not amusing and personally I feel it is close to being cringe. Last season we had Ronaldo and Draluc dancing to a disco beat which was awesome in its own right. This season’s New Drama Paradise by Jun Fukuyama (voice of Draluc) starts off with this weird group circling dance. Then it proceeds with some other hand rolling movements. I’m not expecting anything like Gangnam Style but watching this I just can’t help feel the cringe. Furthermore, the song itself sounds so gay. Ugh. As for the ending theme, TRD sings Cozy Crazy Party and although it sounds generic, although it is not as cringe as the opener.

Overall, while this sequel is still highly enjoyable with all its trademark nonsensical slapstick comedy, it doesn’t break any new grounds. I have to admit that the second season does not surpass the first but I can’t complain since there were many other sh*tty and disappointing anime series in the same season. Because of that, this series comes out standing higher in this context. Considering the format of this series, it is quite possible that this might get a third season. Yeah. Maybe third time is the charm. We all don’t mind seeing Draluc dying over and over again. Still better than seeing Peter Parker’s Uncle Ben keep on dying every time the Spiderman franchise gets rebooted or remade! Yeah, the nu-ance of death is nu-ts! Nu!

Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu

6 March, 2022

It is time to vanquish the typical overpowered vampire stereotypes. Don’t you just hate it when vampires are immortalized to have some sort of superpowers and longevity (thanks Hollywood for all that bias stereotype), so much so it is never a fair fight between humans and vampires if it boils down to old fashion hand to hand combat? Yeah, how about we nerf that damn vampire? What if we make that vampire dies easily at just about anything! Even if it is just for 1 weakling vampire in Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu, I guess that is good enough for us to have a good time and laugh. So keep dying over and over again for our entertainment. Even more so when he is forced to live at the place of a vampire hunter because he burnt down his castle! WHAT?! Oh, did I mention this is supposed to be a funny show?

Episode 1A
The famous vampire hunter, Ronaldo goes into the infamous castle of vampire Draluc to rescue a mother’s son. Upon opening the door, Draluc turns into sand! Apparently Draluc is a weak vampire and turns into sand at the slightest. But because he is a vampire, he resurrects. Admitting he is weak, his invincible legacy was only because the tour guide wanted to attract tourists and hence that reputation got stuck with everyone. Then they see the kid playing video games. Yeah, Draluc surprised and never knew either. The kid sneaking in to play his latest games. No wonder there were suspicious save files. Wow. Draluc can turn into sand just by insults too? How weak is this dude?! The kid doesn’t want to go back and runs away inside the castle. The guys give chase and of course, more sand misfortune for Draluc. One turning into an incomplete bat because he has forgotten how to transform. So death is like a reset button? Draluc tries to lure Ronaldo into a trap room and tries to pass it off as some sort of health contraptions. Too bad it all backfired. Finally Ronaldo finds the kid. Draluc will kill them both with his beam statues. Unfortunately they all shoot at Draluc instead. The kid messed with some controller he thought was the air-cond. Things go haywire so they escape the castle. Just in time because it explodes! Draluc thought he is going to make them pay for it all but the sun rises and ‘kills’ him.

Episode 1B
Ronaldo returns to his office as journalists, Kameya and Rokuon want to write more about him. Ronaldo isn’t in the mood as he returns to his office only to see Draluc making this his place! Apparently he should have died but the kid collected the sands because he wanted to have a vampire as a pet. But mom said no and thus he was thrown away. Draluc wants to live here as compensation since vampires with higher with intelligence like him can coexist with humans but Ronaldo doesn’t agree. So he’ll only take John the armadillo as his pet? Suddenly the manager of Vamima barges in. There’s an urgent issue about his son, Bubuo. He has taken Eri the part timer as hostage. He wants to be a vampire and has been bitten by an inferior one. Ronaldo tries to reason with him but Bubuo’s excuses seem pretty shady. Ronaldo then introduces him to the weakling Draluc and all his expectations crumble. Draluc will turn him into a vampire if he so desires. Bubuo doesn’t want to be a weakling like him but Draluc claims strength depends on who you are. So are you still up for it? Draluc sucks his blood and turns into sand! Apparently Bubuo’s blood is too rich for him. Bubuo is distraught and thought he could date Eri if he became one. When he confessed, Eri rejected him because life is too short to make decisions he’ll regret later. So he thought he could assure her by becoming an immortal vampire. Too bad he’ll be disappointed again as Eri admits he isn’t her type and that was her way of politely rejecting him. She’ll soon quit and marry a rich man. Oh, her shift’s over too. Bye. Bubuo wants to become a bird now… Kameya and Rokuon see this and are amazed with Ronaldo’s shocking cooperation with a vampire. So they’re a team now, huh? They want to write a story on this. Poor Ronaldo has to go along with this.

Episode 2A
Draluc reads Ronaldo’s book. War Chronicles of Ronaldo? Sounds interesting. Until Fukuma from Autumn Books calls. Is your manuscript for the next volume ready? Oh sh*t. Ronaldo decides to flee this place seeing he hasn’t started any of it. He explains how scary Fukuma is when it comes to deadlines. Yeah, this guy specializes in martial arts and battle axe! When Fukuma calls again, Ronaldo tries to feign he is being beaten up by Draluc. In that case, Fukuma will go there and beat the sh*t out of the vampire so he can continue is work. Oh sh*t! As they argue on what to do. Fukuma is heard coming. So fast! Can’t miss that deadly sound of battle axe being dragged on the floor! With the power cut off, Draluc thinks of using the darkness to escape. Oh, here’s Fukuma. Draluc then lures Ronaldo and captures him! Traitor! Fukuma bribed him with video games to get him on his side. Of course this weakling vampire can’t hold him down as Ronaldo breaks free and escapes. Unfortunately the moment he exits the door, he falls into the Iron Maiden trap set by Fukuma. He is being locked up here until he finishes his manuscript.

Episode 2B
Yomotsuzaka who is the director of Vampire Research Centre (VRC), tests some cell experiment on a lab vampire. Ronaldo and Draluc meet with another vampire hunter, Satetsu to go hunt down a vampire escaped from the lab. Draluc gives Ronaldo the slip as he thinks he can take down the vampire himself. This is his goal to have Ronaldo praise him and perhaps take over his agency. Suddenly he is assaulted by a few boys who are out to hunt the bad vampire. I guess Draluc won’t have it tough to explain why he isn’t the bad guy. Weakling. This commotion lures out the real one, Nudenium. Yeah, he is scary because he has flowers for his crotch! He will turn them into his blood slaves so you better run for your lives! Draluc wants the kid to act as bait so when Draluc gets close enough to bite his neck, if his blood is stronger than his, then he will become subservient. Or do you want flowers as your crotch?! The plan fails but before Nudenium could do anything, Ronaldo saves the day and pumps a few silver bullets into him. Draluc tries to take some credit and perhaps Ronaldo could pay him for his services to rebuild his castle. WTF is costs $2 trillion?!

Episode 2C
Woah. There’s a vampire control division in the police? Well, Hinaichi is here to investigate the vampire living with Ronaldo to ascertain if he is dangerous. This is bad news for Ronaldo because just now Draluc says his ideal kind of blood sucking human are cute young girls! Oh sh*t. Hence Ronaldo goes all out to make sure both never meet and from a long shot, tries to kill Draluc with vibration in the other room?! I guess banging the wall or stomping the ground didn’t do the trick. Yeah, Draluc isn’t that weak, huh?! Even trying to use John and put garlic all over him and throw him into the room. Failed spectacularly as John bounces out instead. And the worst case scenario as Draluc and Hinaichi meet. Surprisingly, Draluc being the gentleman and all. This flusters Hinaichi so she quickly takes her leave and will return another day. That was quick. Of course Draluc’s ulterior motive is to have her return to get her close enough to him so he can suck her blood. My, what a dangerous fellow. Until John (still with garlic) falls over him. John still depressed Ronaldo tried to use him…

Episode 3A
Hinaichi kills a worm vampire and saves a couple of policemen. They note how she is a genius and became the youngest vice captain of her division in history. Hinaichi puts forth a request to her boss, Hiyoshi that she needs to keep an eye on Draluc. She believes Draluc is hiding his true strength by being weak. And so she spies on Draluc but gets confused why he dies so easily. Yup, twisted deductions of how he is pretending to be weak just to make her give up on her surveillance. Even more so, she thinks he is kind-hearted to get himself killed to protect those kids from his great power?! WTF?! And then a giant vampire mosquito is going to attack him. Draluc flees until Ronaldo comes by to destroy it. He also ‘kills’ Draluc for trying to use John as a shield. Hinaichi realizes she has been a fool all along. When she returns, Hiyoshi relays the good news that the bosses have approved her request. Now she will continue to monitor Draluc. The fool carries on…

Episode 3B
With Ronaldo’s second volume released, he thinks of stopping by the guild to do some PR. The guild master, Gosetsu also runs a bar as Ronaldo hopes he could help promote his book at his place. Draluc seems to happily make acquaintance with other vampire hunters (and also insult the rest as some low level comedians), that is until he meets Senya Siriski the vampire trainer. This S&M gay dude trains vampires to his fetishes, hence the name. You bet this weakling can’t stand up to his gayness. However, Ronaldo is more than willing to give Draluc away! Peaceful days will be back again. Because it won’t be fun that way, it is suggests that they play a best of 5 games to claim Draluc. First match is arm wrestling and it is obvious Ronaldo throws away his match. Next is poker. Obviously he has no matches at all but Draluc sabotages and switches the cards. Too bad Senya still has the better hand. Suddenly a call from Fukuma that the editor in chief loves his volume of Ronaldo pairing with Draluc. He wants the story to continue this way. Oh sh*t. I guess this means he can’t do away with Draluc and now gets passionate to fight for his right to own Draluc! Next is shooting in which Ronaldo aces. Then it is Twister. Damn, who wants to see 2 men doing Twister?! Even with all the compromising positions! In the end, Ronaldo wins with more determination and his more flexible body. Finally it is pole knocking. Yeah, turning Draluc into sand and sticking a cross into it, the one who knocks it down loses. In the end, Ronaldo wins since he claims he knows every inch of Draluc. Senya admits defeat but the rest realizes Ronaldo cheated with this pole. However Senya is so moved about Ronaldo caring so much for Draluc that Senya sees a new light in him. Oh sh*t! Spare us this gay moment!!! Oh well, at least Draluc gets the last laugh.

Episode 4A
A strange monster enters Ronaldo’s office for advice. So scary that Draluc even dies! Actually he is also a fellow vampire, Aud von Kreatur. He can turn into anything he wants but looks like his power is out of control. The problem is that when he is turned on with perverted thoughts, he turns into this gross monstrosity! And even more unfortunate is that almost anything turns him on! The obvious way is to make him go limp but even Draluc taking off his shirt to expose his skinny bones isn’t enough to do the trick. Worse, John looks like boobs and this turns Aud into something weird and sending John into depression. Draluc decides to use some reverse psychology. Why not spam all the porn in his face until he gets used to it? Yup, thanks to Ronaldo’s porn collection, it might seem to work. And just as Aud is going to transform to his true handsome self, Hinaichi barges in after hearing the commotion. Cute girl turns him on so it’s back to square one. And she thinks everyone here is doing something unholy. Yeah. Porn mags everywhere…

Episode 4B
Better believe it. Draluc is good at cooking. They soon receive a box of vegetables from Autumn Books. However it is infested with vampire vegetables?! Can’t throw them away and hell Ronaldo wants to call VRC since he doesn’t want to be lectured by Yomotsuzaka. Draluc tries cooking them but it tastes horrible! With the vegetables multiplying, Ronaldo is to get some spray to kill them all. However with Draluc having phobias of tomatoes breeding in his coffin and Ronaldo being scared of the celery because of its traits like some roach, it’s a scream fest here. Eventually Ronaldo uses his emergency garlic. Uhm, so what good will it do now those garlic turned into vampires too? Eventually he has to call VRC to clean up the mess. And yes, a lecture from Yomotsuzaka…

Episode 4C
Hinaichi is supposed to come and observe Draluc but it turns out to be Tou Handa. He is one of Hinaichi’s colleagues and has been sent in her place. Handa is a dhampire, half-human and half-vampire and looks like he has some grudge against Ronaldo. As Handa and Draluc sit in the room alone, suddenly Handa starts searching the place. The observation is just a ploy as Handa wants to find Ronaldo’s weakness. This is to get revenge for his mom. Because she is a big fan of Ronaldo’s books! Imagine the embarrassment of him when mom squeals in front of his friends. Yeah. Enough to make him wanna die. Hence he’ll expose that fraud and erase him from society! At first Draluc is against it since he will lose a place to live. But Handa offers a limited edition vampire game. Deal. Draluc remembers the closet could house Ronaldo’s weakness since he is reluctant to let him in there. But as they try to find a way in, Ronaldo keeps barging in so they have to pretend to masquerade as some dumb game. Eventually John is sent to keep Ronaldo at bay. Poor John. This going to be hard on his conscious! Eventually inside the closet turns out to be fan letters from Handa’s mom! Ronaldo hid it away thinking he would be shocked in seeing them. Indeed. Sadly, the dhampire got so mad-cum-embarrassed, he throws himself out of the window. Ronaldo calls Hinaichi to compensate for the broken window…

Episode 5A
Hinaichi needs the guild’s cooperation to take down a very dangerous vampire. Nagiri Tsujigiri can form a blade with his own blood and kills his victims with it. Making him even fearsome is the fact that he hid his soul somewhere else. Hence he is like an immortal. Unless his soul is found, you can’t kill this dude. Meanwhile John has dug up a little box. Draluc looks into it. What’s this weird doll? Oh well. Whatever. Yeah, you bet that it is Tsujigiri’s soul! So when that dude returns to inspect and finds it gone, he starts to panic. Did a vampire hunter did this? Then those detective boys come by. Tsujigiri wants to kill them but thankfully Draluc has an accident with the doll. Wow. It’s like a voodoo doll. He feels whatever pain that is inflicted onto the doll. By the time Tsujigiri stumbles into Hinaichi, Draluc is back at the guild and talking to Koyuki (Gosetsu’s daughter). Lots of accidents happen so you bet Tsujigiri is feeling all the pain. More humiliation when they undress the doll and put some sexy Playboy outfit. Tsujigiri the pervert! It all ends when Draluc accidentally squashes the doll. I wonder how many broken bones he’ll have…

Episode 5B
Hinaichi must be so free to come visit Ronaldo’s office. Observing Draluc, eh? But looks like there’s an incident. Apparently a stray cat has crawled and hid himself in the ventilation. Ronaldo calls it Bosatsu because of his smiling face. Hinaichi agrees to help them get the cat out. First, they ask John to go talk to it but I guess an armadillo is too bulky to crawl through the shaft. Next, Draluc bakes cookies but Hinaichi eats them all. Desperate times call for desperate measure so Ronaldo turns Draluc into sand and throws him at Bosatsu. Death a hundred times! By the time Draluc realizes that Bosatsu is a vampire, it is too late as he has bitten Hinaichi’s hand. Now she is his underling. Bosatsu reveals his plan to turn all humans as cat slaves. Since John got bitten too, the distraction causes Ronaldo to fail and be bitten too. All that’s left is Draluc. Since he cannot be controlled, Bosatsu wants to use his sand as his litter box! But since he is good at cooking, he’ll do cooking for 3 days and other days as litter box! Draluc has the final laugh as he calls Fukuma! Turns out this guy is a big cat lover too! Bosatsu thinks he has got this guy under his thumb but his bite does nothing. In fact, Fukuma is so infatuated with Bosatsu, he’ll take him away to his ‘paradise’… Oh sh*t! A few days later as Fukuma returns with his new pet cat, you can see the fear in Bosatsu’s face, repeating like a broken recorder how he loves his new ‘paradise’. Scary…

Episode 5C
Handa has his day off so you bet he is going to see Draluc to form yet another unholy alliance to defeat his arch enemy. Draluc wants to know how all this rivalry started so Handa starts by going back all the way to high school. Oh, looks like it already started. Handa always trying to up Ronaldo in everything. He even hired Kameya to do dirt on him despite Handa himself is the one who set up all those traps, exposing himself as the culprit. Does his hatred run so deep? One day, the trio got locked in the gym locker room. A clione vampire attacks Kameya. Professional camera guy still wants the shots taken despite being eaten. Ronaldo becomes bait so Handa throws the fire to kill it. By the time the teacher enters, he got the wrong idea that this is some sort of weird cult. Not sure at that point if Ronaldo was saved… Then turns out it was Handa who set the whole thing up! Ronaldo heard all this and punches Handa and sends him flying through the window! Again! Will this be compensated? Don’t get your hopes too high up.

Episode 6A
A hot vampire guy, Adam comes to Ronaldo’s office for help. He wants to hide him! Sure, hide him in the ceiling. But why the rest must hide with him?! Turns out there is this fat ugly girl, Maremi Gekkoin looking for Adam and wants him to bite her neck so she could be a vampire to stay with him forever! Now I see why. Long story short, when Adam first came to town, he was hungry. He thought of hitting on this hot chick to become friends with her so as to suck her blood but turns out her friend Maremi thought it was her. The rest is history. Ronaldo doesn’t care about it so Adam at least needs his help to let him escape town. As they go through the vents, Maremi who has good hearing, tracks them. Adam jumps out the window and as he runs across the street, a truck is going to hit him. Uhm, aren’t vampires supposed to be immortal? Anyway, Maremi pushes him out of the way and gets hit! Oh sh*t! Adam is sad that she saved his life despite his cruel treatment. On the contrary, she finds him a kind person as he has never labelled her ugly. Damn, am I supposed to feel guilty myself?! Adam then sucks her blood to turn her into a vampire queen. Since she is so cool as one, Adam is smitten with her and now follows her. A few days later, he returns to Ronaldo. He says they’re dating but since Adam feels weak, he hopes Ronaldo can introduce a gym for vampires to become stronger. Just get out!

Episode 6B
Draluc doesn’t want to attend his vampire family’s New Year meeting. He gives all sorts of excuses but since he’ll get some money, Draluc accepts and even drags Ronaldo into this mess. Oh wow. John reunites with his armadillo family? Is it a trend for vampires to keep armadillos as pet? Ronaldo meets Draluc’s father, Draus and aunt, Gorgona. Draluc created a lie that Ronaldo is a pole dancer! Well, if they found out Ronaldo destroyed Draluc’s castle that belonged to his grandpa, they’ll sue! Gorgona hell bent in finding more about Ronaldo’s pole dancing exploits online… WTF he goes by the name Paul McCartney?! No such pole dancer by that name! Ronaldo feels so dumb so he decides to leave but bumps into this towering vampire. Turns out this is Draluc’s grandpa who is the head of all vampires. Everyone fears him. Despite his friendly demeanour, he is also twisted. The moment everyone fears is here because grandpa has created a dangerous board game for everyone to play. Lots of prizes to be won. Including Ronaldo’s volumes! Holy sh*t! He wrote about the destruction of the castle there so you bet if they find out, they’ll sue! Hence Ronaldo and Draluc team up to win this game desperately. We see everyone getting into all sorts of traps. Not to mention being humiliated with some of the penalties. In the end, thanks to John giving a little help, Ronaldo wins it. He takes the book. But grandpa asks Draluc about his destroyed castle. The coward doesn’t hesitate to blame Ronaldo and reveal his true identity. However no one is mad. Draus thinks Ronaldo has whipped his son into shape and grandpa doesn’t mind it a bit. Just when you thought everything is going to end happily, Ronaldo destroys Draluc. That’s for all the humiliation tonight. Grandpa’s advice to Draluc is to cherish his human friend. Yup, you’ll never find another sucker, oops I mean, friend like him anywhere.

Episode 7A
Vamima’s manager suddenly barges in and talks about dirty stuffs despite in distress? Hmm… Something isn’t right… Those detective boys are going to be assaulted by a vampire but Ronaldo saves them and gets zapped by his beam. Now Ronaldo is talking dirty and about boobs?! Turns out this vampire’s beam makes you say lewd things. As he runs away, Ronaldo gives chase. But you know the damage done when the entire town is talking erotic stuffs. WTF Draluc uses John as shield from the beam and now he’s blaming that dude for this?! Yeah, I wonder how an armadillo is going to talk dirty. Then he meets Aud but his beams don’t work because he is also a pervert. You’d think it be a showdown to see whose unholy desires is greater but it turns out they bond and become partners! But before they can unleash a new wave of perverted terror, everyone surrounds them and beats them up. In the aftermath, everyone returns to normal but the detective boys still call Ronaldo the boobs loving man.

Yeah, he just committed suicide on the spot!

Episode 7C
Draus comes to Ronaldo’s office to visit his son but Draluc isn’t in. Draus has lots of gifts prepared for Draluc so Ronaldo believes father has been spoiling his son for 200 years. Since Draus won’t leave until his son returns, Ronaldo tries to ignore him and work on his manuscript. Of course Draus gets curious and tries to insert some suggestions like having a cameo appearance but Ronaldo isn’t impressed. Draus thinks Ronaldo has been killing his son many times and even thinks he did something to John. Well, just that one event has John all depressed. Apologize, Ronaldo! With that, Draus won’t allow Draluc to stay here and will take him back. Ronaldo is all for that until he remembers Fukuma’s threats about the well-received teamwork they have. In that case, let’s go ask Draluc himself. They go look for him but end up ‘interviewing’ the other characters who mostly speak of Draluc’s bad habits. It is then Draus gives up on taking his son home since he has a lot of fun here (since he was always alone with John in his castle). He notes Draluc has found a good human friend. The detective kids have been looking for Ronaldo just to show how they’ve turned Draluc into shiny mud balls! Father so disappointed… I guess it’s not the kind of fun he envisioned…

He tries to hint to Handa who he is and thankfully he gets the hint. However, he has to come up lies that this is not a bat but a crab! And Draluc has to play along with this stupid charade! Handa and comrade Sagyo end up in some dumb arguments until Draluc dies once and turns into a strange bat creature. Is this still a crab?! Then Hiyoshi takes Draluc away and knows who he is. How? He read all about it in Ronaldo’s book. Then another accidental death. This time returning to his original vampire form. Hi everybody. Draluc is shipped back to Ronaldo’s office and the vampire hunter isn’t even interested to see his transformation.

Episode 8B
Looks like there is a series of kidnappings in town lately. As John goes out to do some errands, Ronaldo tells him to be careful. The vampire control division and the vampire hunters then cooperate to solve the case. Ronaldo calls home to check on John. Draluc answers and looks like the little guy isn’t back yet. It’s barely a couple of minutes he kidnapped John but everyone is out looking for him! Oh damn, how important is this armadillo?! Tsujigiri cannot make a decent move since everybody in town is looking for him and he is left to hide. Then he realizes his own safety is more important than his pride and will ditch John just to get away. Suddenly John gets kidnapped by a spider vampire. Tsujigiri remembers hearing the vampire control dudes talking about the kidnappings. He wouldn’t have to care except the thought that they might pin the blame on him for all the kidnappings. That won’t do. We see the spider vampire in its lair and all the kidnapped kids. John manages to use his security whistle as the spider is going to eat him first. Luckily Tsujigiri saves the day and slashes it. Tsujigiri needs to scram before the reinforcements arrive so John gives a jam pancake as thanks. Everyone is relieved to have found John and the kidnapped kids. Case solved. John hands the jam pancakes to Draluc and Ronaldo. They notice it is missing a piece. And they argue over it. Tsujigiri meanwhile enjoys his jam pancake. Cold…

Feels creepy here as something tries to take her in but luckily another shadowy figure takes her hand and guides her out. Hinaichi feels weird spacing out and wonders if that was a dream. Oh well, just in time for the parade. Maremi is the star but since she is too heavy, the float breaks!

Episode 10B

And this duck guy, Vamone whom everyone seems to praise greatness, yeah, he’s got his own theme song! The rest of the other members Draluc interviews why they dress as they do, so it’s hobby, huh? Is this a cosplay club? With a vampire here, I guess interview is over as the rest take it out and Draluc returns home. Ronaldo still panicking with the bug around and bumps into Draluc. Both of them crash through the window. Double death for Draluc?

Episode 11B
Fancy knowing how Draluc met John? Well, buckle up your seatbelts because it’s time to go back in time. When Draluc’s grandpa decides to visit South America, he brought back a chupacabra for Draus and an injured little armadillo for Draluc. Seeing his weakened state, Draluc decides to care for him. Luckily he healed fast and before you know it, they spent great days together in the South American fields. He is named John thanks to the myriad of names the other family members called him. John is a shortened abbreviation of all that. One night, the vampires decide to go back to Europe so John goes to say goodbye to his family as he wants to follow Draluc. However the family is being attacked by a giant vampire mosquito. Thanks to Draluc, the mosquito is defeated. Draluc realizes he would be tearing John from his family so he talks to the armadillo elder to take care of this little one. Of course when John returned to the villa, the vampires are gone. John sad. With only a picture of Draluc’s castle left behind, John decides to take a trip to Europe to find him. He says goodbye to his family before departing on a boat to Europe. With only a picture in hand, can he find that elusive castle? Yeah, snippets suggest he may have walked all over Europe! Finally he heard some guys talking about a certain vampire castle. Meanwhile you can tell Draluc is having a hangover missing John. Look at all the balls in his room! As he goes out for a walk, he is attacked by a crazy ostrich! Wait. Does Europe have ostriches?! Anyway, now it is John’s turn to save the day. Spinball in its crotch! Wait. Do ostriches have balls?! With John reuniting with Draluc, the latter realizes he was an idiot for leaving him. Then he gave John drink his blood to become his familiar. And they have been together ever since. Yeah, such a heart-warming story so you be Ronaldo is crying! Feeling jealous that their bond goes back way longer than yours?! But Ronaldo beats Draluc up when he is about to use John as a bowling ball!!! The epilogue shows the bunch of armadillo and chupacabra family have been living in that South American villa since and looks like their family numbers have grown. Yup, they still keep in touch!

Episode 12A
Spiderleg Aranea just landed in town and she is going to such the blood of any cute girls she can find. But Draluc stands in her way. This is his town so scram! What if she doesn’t? Well, you’ve guessed it. He got turned into a sand and but in a special bottle that only she can hear. Her first victim is of course Ronaldo. She is going to seduce him and drink his blood. Oh damn, Ronaldo getting seduced by her? Must be those boobs. Yeah, what a weakling. See that bad acting trying to impress her. Draluc can only give snarky comebacks that no one else can here. Aranea plans to take action when there is nobody around. So when they reach a quiet area, she attacks! But Ronaldo evades and fights back! It seems he has to lure her to this place where there are nobody and all the vampire hunters and vampire control police have surrounded the place. Well, should have seen through his bad acting! Aranea so pissed that she got tricked, she’s going to kill everybody. Too bad she can’t best their teamwork and is taken down. In the aftermath, Draluc asks how he knew she was a vampire. Firstly, she knew him as a vampire hunter despite not introducing himself. Really? I thought Ronaldo was famous. You know, his book?! Second, they receive reports about her from another town. Lastly, a girl flirted with her! That’s the most given sign! Ouch! Oh damn, Ronaldo’s tears are real!

Episode 12B
Draluc dresses up as a lame character from a video game as Halloween. So this festivities is where humans and monsters deepen their relationship? Well, Ronaldo certainly looking surprised that there is a party going on in his agency right now because Draluc invited almost everybody in this series for this free food! Humans and vampires, you name it, they’re all here. I notice Fukuma and Yomotsuzaka not around… This is going to be a great party! The party gets wilder and wilder as that micro bikini vampire thinks he can take over the show. Too bad Draluc has everyone play bingo. End of domination. Then it turns out this isn’t the real Draluc but his grandpa in disguise! Just wanna have fun, huh? Because now it is time for Ronaldo to do his pole dancing act! Oh yeah! John as DJ! Go Ronaldo! A smashing kick that kills Draluc. Oh, there’s an after-party too?! A party after the party?! The fun goes on…

Episode 12C
Looks like the PS4 QS4 is toast. Ronaldo and Draluc blame each other but who is going to fork out money for the latest QS5 Pro Ultra Powerful Grade Justice X2? Oh dear. A fight on the cards. I guess they don’t want to split it, huh? And so it is suggested they play 5 games. Each will write different games and put it in a box and draw from it. The loser after 5 games will sponsor this console. First game is staring contest. They both lost it. A draw. Next is flexible match. Ronaldo more flexible than the vampire so he wins. Third match is making impressions. Draluc has better impressions than the vampire hunter so he wins. Series at tie now. Fourth match is haiku. Both their haikus suck. Yup, another draw. Final decisive match: Dance battle! Get into your silly garb as we start the showdown… But before that happens, they realize how dumb they’ll look so they agree to split the cost. After getting the new console, looks like it is a battle who can use. Back to the box.

A Good Vampire Is A Dead Vampire
And so that is how it ends. Pretty much random and the usual silliness. Nothing over the top that breaks the mould. All within expectations. Well, if it is not broken, why fix it, right? At this rate, it might get another season but nothing at this point in writing now. Who knows? Down the road when there are too many serious and stereotypical evil vampires across the anime series, they’ll bring back this one to remind us that some vampires can be pretty dumb, oops, uhm, I mean pretty chill and funny too. Or will it remain as sand for the rest of eternity… Suna… But otherwise, never change, you people. Never change.

Well, for this kind of series, the best solution is of course to have short episodic and standalone episodes. Having some sort of a real plot to follow in every episode just wouldn’t cut it for this one. Therefore after watching every punch line and laughing our asses off at all the stupidity, the next skit can start off fresh without being held back on what happened before. A fresh start. I mean, not to say that what happens in prior skits are totally reset and everything restarts anew like as though these incidents have never happened before, more importantly you don’t have to expend a lot of memory power to remember what happened in previous episodes unlike series that heavily rely on plot driven stories. You just watch the episode, laugh out loud and move on to the next skit without having any worries of losing anything much. Heck, you could watch any episode in any order but you might just get confused in wondering who the f*ck that character is. Yup, there is some sort an ‘introduction’ when a character pops up the first time so if you don’t watch that, you might wonder, say why the heck Ronaldo is scared of Fukuma.

I suppose they’re trying to make this a slapstick comedy that you can really laugh your ass off without any worries. Who cares if anyone gets offended, right? While this doesn’t really match up or get anywhere close to my favourite and biggest parody and slapstick comedy series of all time, Gintama, in a way it is somewhat wrong to compare this series with that one. It’s like comparing apples to, uhm, chocolates? Anyway, this series tries to find its own charm and brand of ‘offensive’ humour as you can see some of the humour style is no holds barred. But of course still within what is legally allowed to be shown on TV. So hence when you hear them talking in some episodes where they talk about lewd stuffs and boobs, it’s all in the name of comedy. Still, I can’t help try to compare this series to Gintama from time to time even though when I shouldn’t. You’ll see why later… The only part that spooked me was the one Hinaichi got almost spirited away at the festival. Until today I still do not understand what it meant. Who was behind it, why and who saved her (most probably it was Draluc). Still gives me the creepers whenever I think about it.

Despite the entire series is filled with slapstick comedy, there is one really short section where it gets serious. Nah. Just kidding. Well, the next episode preview is shown in a very dramatic way that something serious or dramatic might be happening to our characters. For the first few episodes, we are tricked into thinking that perhaps sh*t will hit the fan in the next episode. Only to be trolled when the next episode comes around, there is nothing sort of that threat as seen before. Yeah, they really trolled us good. So you see people, this is exactly how the media can actually frame a narrative! You show certain angles of a scene and not the whole picture, and then you put in some suspenseful background music to accompany the seemingly tense dialogue. Voila! Next episode might be the one where sh*t happens! Heh. I bet Draluc will die each time he sees this preview!

What can I say for the bunch of characters? There is a hell lot of them and aside the main ones, the rest of the minor and supporting ones don’t just pop up once or twice. Okay, maybe some do. But for the rest, they pop up for a while in the background and the likes. After all, this series isn’t plot driven, hell it isn’t character driven too. So we have a lot of crazy characters to make up for that. Uh huh. When you can’t have a quality character or two, spam a lot of weirdoes in the cast! Safe to say, everybody in this city is somewhat crazy and bonkers. Everyone is dumb too but that is just for the sake of comedy. Yup, how else are they going to make us laugh if everyone is so freaking smart?! Uh huh. Like as though Shin Yokohama is some sort of huge mental asylum! Do you not think so?! Puts Arkham Asylum to shame. Why are there only weird people living in this city?! Yeah, perhaps those ordinary background characters are the asylum caretakers, that’s why they’re not as crazy as our zany casts, no?

So for our main pair, Ronaldo and Draluc, it is that weird pairing and combo for them. Arch enemies living with each other only because a certain publisher thinks this is going to be the next hit story. Yup, a certain somebody is even worse than death itself! So it’s better for them to put up with each other’s company and shenanigans because that way we can laugh at all their antics and the likes. Now do you see Fukuma’s vision of pairing them together? And of course, Draluc’s role and death is written for comedic purposes and has been a staple running joke of the series since the start. I am sure I can find a video on Draluc’s total death count somewhere on the internet… The way he easily dies and turns into sand by just about anything, is the weakest version somebody can nerf a vampire. But of course it could either be a blessing or a curse because he is immortal so he gets to revive and die over and over again. Are we having fun yet? Somehow Draluc turning into sand just doesn’t get old… One more time please, can somebody kill Draluc so we can laugh at his misery? It isn’t the vampire dies in no time. More like the vampire dies all the time! HAHAHA!!!

Ultimately, Draluc himself isn’t a bad vampire. Heck, it seems that there are really no evil vampires in this series. I mean, really malicious vampires with really pure evil intent in committing acts of genocide or taking over the world and forming a new vampire order. Yup, everyone from humans to vampires are downright harmless and in a way, dumb. Yup, wait for it, for comedy purposes! So vampires like them can range from just cheeky to mischievous and aren’t a real threat to society. Hey, they still can roam freely in town, right? It is only the lesser vampires that are monsters that everyone should be wary but that is what the hunter guild is for. At the end of the day, if it weren’t for Ronaldo’s job as a vampire hunter and Draluc as a vampire kin, they would’ve been typical best friends who seek to annoy the hell out of each other. Oh yeah. Such fun times. Van Helsing or Alucard they are not but okay, whatever works for them.

It is without a doubt that the best character of this series definitely goes to John! Yes, this armadillo should have his own spinoff series! Despite John mainly feels like a side supporting character, but I am very sure that most of us will have our faces light up and brighten our day to see what kind of cuteness John will show us in today’s episode. You can tell how the producers know the sentiments and popularity of John as they subtly show us in one episode how freaking important this VIA (Very Important Armadillo) is! John is missing? THAT’S A FREAKING NATIONAL LEVEL DISASTER!!! NO NOOK AND CRANNY SHALL BE LEFT OUT OR STONES UNTURNED UNTIL JOHN IS FOUND!!! NOBODY SLEEPS UNTIL THE ARMADILLO GETS BACK SAFELY!!! And the closest they got in putting John up the high pedestal is when he partially became the new God for all of us to worship! Oh damn, that was good while it lasted. So can we get a spinoff of John already? NUUUU!!!

And the rest of the other side characters… Well, they only have one or two traits so as we can remember them by for comedic purposes. Like for example, Handa who is for eternity Ronaldo’s rival and always wants to outdo him but ends up getting backfired. And yeah, that running joke of him falling through windows. That’s all you need to remember this dude. Dhampire he may be but he is more likely a dumb-pire, HAHAHA!!! Yeah! Hiyoshi looks very unimportant but they keep making him lose his fake moustache. Is that how they want to make us remember such minor characters? There are some characters whom I thought would play a more prominent role like Hinaichi (I thought a love triangle was possible), Fukuma (I thought he could be the real Demon Lord in disguise), Satetsu (I thought he was going to have a split personality like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde) and Yomotsuzaka (I thought he would be the mastermind culprit who created and released all the vampire nuisance in town) abut I guess it is not meant to be.

Art and animation look pretty fine. Though, everything here is quite colourful and the seemingly simplistic art style may make this series look a bit cartoonish. Yup, younger audiences might think it is some kiddie show and then go watch this, only to be shocked or left stumped at all the dumb lewd jokes! And the thing that made me keep comparing this series to Gintama is that if you have seen that series, you would instantly why the heck Ronaldo looks like the Yorozuya bugger?! Did Gintoki switch jobs to become a vampire hunter now?! Yeah, the resemblance is really striking and I can’t look away from it forever. And it’s like he disguised himself using a name of a famous Portuguese footballer just to fool is he is not Shinpanchi and Kagura’s ex-boss. Some vampires may look cartoonish but their design may be nightmare fuel. Like Aud and that kissy vampire. Or even Nudenium. Yikes. But none can be as cringe as micro bikini vampire because he looks as close as Michael Jackson!!! Imagine Smooth Criminal in a micro bikini… ARGH!!! MY EYES!!! This anime is done by veteran Madhouse who did classic hits like One Punch Man, No Game No Life, Highschool Of The Dead, Overlord, Mahouka Koukou No Rettousei, Claymore and Trigun.

Voice acting, it is good to hear Jun Fukuyama helming a main character role as Draluc. It feels like a long time for me that he has been only voicing cameo roles. And especially strange comical characters like Takumi in Strange+ and, uhm, can I consider Kuroshitsuji’s Grell as one too? Then there is Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Handa. While it is good he is trying not to sound like a Kirito stereotype, but with all the angst in his character, kinda reminds me of Inosuke from Kimetsu No Yaiba. There are many other recognizable seiyuus too lending their voice here from Takehito Koyasu as Yomotsuzaka, Youko Hikasa as Maria, Kana Hanazawa as Maremi, Kikuko Inoue as Akemi, Daisuke Ono as Hiyoshi, Sho Hayami as Draus, Jouji Nakata as Draluc’s grandpa and even Norio Wakamoto, Hiroki Yasumoto and Shigeru Chiba as those weird pesky vampires only named after their silly traits.

For the rest of the casts, they are Makoto Furukawa as Ronaldo (Shirogane in Kaguya-sama Kokurasetai), Natsumi Hioka as Hinaichi (Machi in Kuma Miko), Shunichi Toki as Fukuma (Glenn in Monster Musume No Oisha-san, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Satetsu (Reiner in Shingeki No Kyojin), Masaya Onosaka as Senya (Nanashi in MAR), Atsushi Tamaru as Shot (Ayato in Gakuen Toshi Asterisk), Tetsu Inada as Gosetsu (Gamagoori in Kill La Kill), Toshihiko Seki as Tsujigiri (Mousse in Ranma 1/2), Takayuki Kondou as Kameya (Oishi in Prince Of Tennis), Akio Ohtsuka as Nudenium (titular character in Black Jack) and Yashuhiro Takato as Aud (Nezu in Boku No Hero Academia). Heck, even John has got his own seiyuu: Mutsumi Tamura (Sonya in Kill Me Baby). Easiest voice acting role ever? NU!

Surprisingly, the opening theme is quite an interesting song. Dies In No Time by Jun Fukuyama is quite the disco dance music with all that fancy fanfare to make you get up and do some seriously dancing or at least keep your feet shuffling. Because when you see Draluc and Ronaldo dancing together in the opening credits animation, it makes you feel like you want to dance to the beat too. Yeah, they make an interesting dance pair to say the least. I’m sure if they throw in John, they can win any dance competition hands down! The ending theme is Strangers by TRD (a newly formed duo unit consisting of Daisuke Ono and Takayuki Kondou). Well, feels a lot like some synthesizer dance music since it has lots of those effects and bass dubstep in otherwise mostly a generic pop song.

Overall, if you want to have a good laugh, and I mean laugh out loud at all the silly antics and bizarre madness, this series is for you. Not much heavy investment is needed. Just a sense of humour that is all you need to sit down and enjoy this one. You might not lose many brain cells because it’s a no-brainer that you’re supposed to have a good time laughing at all the dumbness but at the same time, you may also lose some brain cells because of all the dumbness. But who cares, right? As long as we’re laughing and be happy. In an age where a certain virus has become endemic, we need all the good news and things that can give us good feelings that we can get. So don’t be all too serious because sometimes we need to have a good laugh and break before we get back to bleak reality. Just like how a certain son of God died for our sins, be grateful that a certain vampire died for our laugher and entertainment! Many times over. Do you feel refreshed and purified now? Jesus Draluchrist! Sighs, sorry bad name pun. But the God character is still of course John! Nu!
